Fruit for this wine comes from Fennwood Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton appellation. Lees aromas are at the fore, initially followed by notes of candle wax, lemon pith, and spice. There's a pleasing balance to the medium-bodied flavors, with lemony acidity throughout. Lees notes linger on the finish. It's a stylistic offering of the variety with pieces that almost fit.
